After making the Philippines proud at the 57th International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia in Venice, Italy in 2017, “The Spectre of Comparison” — which features the works of renowned artists Lani Maestro and Manuel Ocampo, and curated by Joselina “Yeyey” Cruz — is finally home for all Filipinos to see.
The exhibit, currently on view at the Museum of Contemporary Art and Design (MCAD) in Malate, Manila, mainly took inspiration from “Noli Me Tangere,” the classic Filipino novel by National Hero Jose Rizal.
